Status Aadhar Card Online – With Enrollment No.

Checking Aadhar card status online is easy, applicants can visit the online portal of UIDAI official website to check their Aadhaar card status online. There is no charge or price to check Aadhar card status on UIDAI website.

To check the status of your Aadhaar card application online, follow these steps:

Step-1: Go to UIDAI’s Official Aadhaar Website

Step-2: You will need your EID (Enrollment ID) to check your Aadhaar status.

Step-3: The EID consists of the 14-digit registration or enrollment number and the registration date and time and is located at the top of the enrolment or acknowledgment paper (optional).

Step-4: Enter the Captcha Code to confirm your entry.

Step-5: Click “Check Status”.

Step-6: Select the Download Aadhaar option to get the e-Aadhaar.

Step-7: If you would like to receive Aadhaar on your mobile device, click on to the Acquire Aadhaar on Mobile option.

Step-8: Your status will be emailed to your registered mobile number.

Status Aadhar Card Online – Without Enrollment No.

If you have forgotten your enrollment number or lost your acknowledgment slip, you can find it and use your enrollment number to check the status of your Aadhaar card. How to check Aadhar card status without enrollment number:

Step-1: To get your enrollment number, go to https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/retrieve-eid-uid.

Step-2: After entering your name, email address, mobile number, and security code, An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number.

Step-3: Enter the OTP you received and select the “Verify OTP” option.

Step-4: After confirmation, your enrolment number/Aadhaar card will be sent to your registered mobile number and email address.

Step-5: Applicants can check their Aadhaar status using this enrollment number.

Status Aadhar Card – By SMS

Follow the steps below to check your Aadhar card status from your mobile number.

Step-1: Send the following SMS to 51969.

Step-2: “UID-STATUS 14-digit enrollment number >”.

Step-3: Once the Aadhaar is created, the applicant will receive an SMS with his/her Aadhaar number.

Step-4: Otherwise, an SMS will be provided to the applicant with the status of their Aadhaar.

Status Aadhar Card – By Toll-Free Number

Step-1: Dial 1800-300-1947 using a mobile phone number registered with Aadhaar.

Step-2: Provide your EID number to the customer care executive.

Step-3: Wait for a moment to crosscheck the details.

Step-4: After reconciling the information provided, you will receive updates on the status of your Aadhaar card.

Status Aadhar Card – By Phone Number Verification

Registered users can also check the status of their Aadhaar Card from their mobile number. The user must verify the mobile phone number before following the steps below.

Step-1: Visit uidai.gov.in or visit https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/verify-email-mobile

Status Aadhar Card – By India Post

Aadhaar card generation usually takes 60-90 days. You will get an SMS on your registered mobile number after the generation of your Aadhar. If your delivery is delayed for any reason, you can check the status with India Post by following the steps below.

Step-2: Get your shipment details from the UIDAI website

Status Aadhar Card – By Name

Follow these easy steps to check your Aadhaar card status by name

Step-1: Go to UIDAI official website

Step-2: Click Retrieve Lost UID/EID.

Step-3: Enter your name, email address, and registered mobile number

Step-4: Enter and confirm your OTP

Status Aadhar Card Update – Through URN

URN stands for Updating Request Number and is a 14-digit number generated when you complete the online address update process. This number will appear on your screen when you submit an update. You will also receive an SMS with the URN of your linked mobile number.

The numeric format somewhat looks like this:

Use it to check Aadhaar’s change status:

Step 1: Go to https://ssup.uidai.gov.in/checkSSUPStatus/checkupdatestatus and enter your URN.

Step 2: Enter the correct captcha.

Status Aadhar Card – Through Phone

If you don’t have internet or Wi-Fi, you can check the progress of your update by calling the UIDAI number (toll-free) 1800-300-1947. Dial the number and you will be connected to the IVR. To track your change of address request, you must follow these steps:

Step-1: Please select your preferred language. You must choose one of the following options:

1 for Hindi, 2 for English, 3 for Kannada, 4 for Malayalam, 5 for Tamil, 6 for Telugu, and 7 for other languages.

Step-2: Check if you are registered with Aadhaar. We assume that you have previously registered with Aadhaar. Please press 1. Press 2 if you haven’t registered yet. Press 3 to see the current status of your complaint and press 4 to see the merits of Aadhaar. Select 1 to continue.

Step-3: Go to the status bar. Press 1 to check the registration status. For Aadhaar data update questions, please press 2. Dial 9 at this level if you want to talk to a UIDAI agent without going through an IVR. Select 2 to proceed.

Step-4: Learn more about Aadhaar upgrades. Press 1 to find out how to upgrade Aadhaar. Press 2 to see the progress of your update request.

Step-5: Press 1 if you know the URN. Otherwise, press 2.

Step-6: Check with your URN. Enter your 14-digit update request number to receive status updates. Check without URN. You will be transferred to a UIDAI representative to complete the conversation and obtain your updated status.
